The Year of Nelson Mandela: Celebrating South African Heritage Day

Brand South Africa convened an evening of dialogue and celebration with a high level South African delegation featuring: Chairperson of Board of Trustees of Brand South Africa, Ms. Khanyisile Kweyama and the Honorable Minister of Trade and Industry. Robert Haydn Davies. Humanitarian, Activist & Play Your Part Brand Ambassador Mr. Edward Ndopu also gave the audience a special message of inspiration. The program was moderated by the CEO of Brand South Africa, Ms. Thembi Kunene-Msimang. The evening ended with a South African dinner and live musical celebration.

The New Way Forward

African Symposium’s Inaugural Forum on Wildlife Conservation in Africa is launching on March 3, 2020, on the United Nations designated World Wildlife Day and in line with Sustainable Development Goal 15. The forum especially focuses on opportunities for the African Diaspora community and friends to play a more active, engaged and visible role. As a result of this gathering, we also aim to derive a best- practice guide to help attendees make responsible and informed choices in protecting our planet and its inhabitants.
